Last call for Village Market Day vendors!
Cumberland’s “Village Market Day” is seeking local vendors for their annual street market and spring celebration, Saturday May 17th 2014 from 10 am till 4 pm on Dunsmuir Ave.
This is the last call for vending opportunities for this popular community event and all vendors are asked to get their application in by Sunday May 4th.
Vendors of hand made, home made, fair trade and family friendly goods, crafts, art, jewelry, foods, books, plants and flowers, cards, clothing, treats or toys are invited to join local shop keepers for a day long street market attended by residents and visitors from across the Comox Valley and beyond!
Community non profits receive a special rate of $25 to share their stories and projects. This is a great opportunity to get your organization in front of a big crowd. Kids are also invited to participate as vendors with a special rate for arts and crafts produced by kids!
Live music in Village Square, a soap box derby, merchant specials, kids art projects, a giant plant sale and more round out the event. Village Market Day 2014 is coordinated by the Elevate Arts Consortium, presenters of the annual Elevate Arts Festival, in partnership with Village merchants.
Village Market Day is part of the annual week long Empire Days celebration in the Village presented by several vibrant community organizations.
