The Cumberland Chamber of Commerce strives to be the voice of business in the Village of Cumberland and to monitor local government on issues that relate to the success of our business community. A strong Chamber membership and strong participation in monthly meetings will give the Chamber the direction it needs to represent your interests!
Chamber of Commerce Membership 2010
2009 was a very busy year in the Village of Cumberland. New residential and commercial development, amazing live entertainment from Cumberland Village Works, new heritage tours, world class outdoor recreation, and dynamic civic events year round mean that more and more visitors are coming to Cumberland to explore our past and our future!
The Cumberland Chamber of Commerce is committed to providing comprehensive visitor services at their location in the Cumberland Museum and to provide business information for residents, potential residents and investors. We also have a 1-800 number for out of town inquiries and we will forward your information as well as local Visitor Guides in response to these requests for information. Additionally, we help disseminate information to our members regarding important local issues and events that help you plan your operations!
We welcome Comox, Courtenay and rural area based businesses to join our organization and we are actively seeking to increase Chamber membership in our neighbouring communities. The Cumberland Chamber is happy to provide referrals for business services not available in the Village.

Referral Services for real estate, lending, business development
Many of the inquiries received by the Cumberland Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Centre relate to information on real estate, business opportunities and banking services. Cumberland Chamber of Commerce members are the only real estate/banking and business development referrals that will be offered. We welcome business cards, packages, flat sheets etc. However, these “non brochure” format materials will not be racked on our Visitor Information rack - they will available by request.
