Trivia Night
Friday March 26, 2010 - The Cumberland Community Forest Society is once again hosting a Trivia Night at the Cumberland Cultural Centre (2nd Floor). Doors open at 6:30pm and play begins at 7pm. $10 per person. Teams of 8. If you don't have a team ready - come along and a team will be assembled for you!

Snow to Surf Adventure Relay
Sunday April 25, 2010. 28th Annual Royal Lepage Snow to Surf Adventure Relay. Canada's Premier Multi Sport Team Relay Event. From Mount Washington to Comox Marina: Alpine Skiing, Cross-Country Skiing, Running, Mountain Biking, Kayaking, Road Cycling, Canoeing, Post-Race Action for teams of 9 people. International Workers Day Bean Supper
May 1st at 6pm. Bean Supper and concert with Seattle Labour Chorus. Hosted by the Cumberland Museum & Archives, in honour of International Workers Day.
Cumberland Empire Days
May 17-24, 2010, Presented by the Empire Events Society. Empire Days are one of the longest running community events in BC and are a proud tradition in the life of Cumberland. The first recorded Empire Days Celebration was held on Saturday, May 23rd, 1891. This event was held to help celebrate Queen Victoria’s birthday and was named for Queen Victoria and her British Empire. A full schedule of the week's events will be available closer to the date. Free family-friendly fun....Crowning of the May Queen, Empire Day Parade, Village Market Day.
Village Market Day
Saturday May 22 - 10am-4pm. Sponsored by the Cumberland Chamber of Commerce. Street Market on Dunsmuir Ave, entertainment, kids activities, booksale sponsored by the Cumberland Museum, pancake breakfast. Part of Cumberland Empire Days Celebrations!

BC Bike Race
7 Day Cross Country Mountain Bike Race - arrives in Cumberland! Participants arrive in Cumberland for Stage 2 of this event on June 28th. This is the 4th running of the BC Bike Race, and while it's majority of participants are from N. America, nearly 20% hail from up to 23 different nations. Seeking a lifetime achievement award the accomplishment of finishing 7 days of 'wicked' fun World Class mountain biking is similar to completing an Ironman, but spread out over 7 days. Mind Over Mountain Adventure Race
Recently voted the "Best Adventure Race in Western Canada" by Get Out There Magazine for the second year in a row, the MOMAR enters its 11th anniversary season with an impressive 29 race history. On September 25th, teams and individual racers will kayak, mountain bike, trail run, orienteer, bushwhack, and trek their way throughon either the 30km Sport Course or on the 50km Enduro Course in and around the Village of Cumberland
Cumberland Winter Fair
Saturday December 4 - 10am-4pm. Cumberland Winter Fair : Vendors of hand-made or home-made items will gather at the Cumberland Recreation Hall from 10 am until 4pm on Saturday December 4th to offer up an amazing selection of Christmas gift ideas. You can shop, hang out and enjoy some tasty treats, listen to some heart warming tunes and visit with friends and neighbours as part of this day long event.
